Fondren-Jones Science Center
Overview
Completed in 2019, the FJSC is home to the Garey School of Natural Sciences and the departments of biology, chemistry, kinesiology, mathematics and computer science, and physics. This building was designed to mirror SU’s commitment to interdisciplinary learning. The building boasts state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including 20 research labs, a nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscope, a molecular biology center, a kinesiology human performance lab, a plant-growth facility, and a cell-culture facility.
