Greenhouse & Community Garden
Overview
Exemplifying SU's commitment to sustainability, the student-run campus garden and greenhouse supplies 100% organic produce—such as cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, spinach, chard, eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, and strawberries—to community organizations. Equipped with an aquaponic growing system and raised wicking beds, the campus garden boasts native and drought-tolerant plants and is a featured part of Southwestern's certification as a pollinator-friendly Bee Campus USA affiliate.
