Julie Pruett Howry Center

Overview

The Howry Center houses the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life. Led by the university chaplain, the office is committed to helping campus community members connect and grow while examining their own spiritual identities and learning about a diverse range of belief systems. Although affiliated with the United Methodist Church, Southwestern promotes compassion and respect for members of all religious affiliations and spiritual perspectives, hosting events to encourage conversations with others who orient around religion differently but with the specific aim of shared action for the common good.
