Rockwell Baseball Field

Overview

Built in 1978 and having hosted NCAA Regionals, NAIA District and Area Playoffs, high-school playoff games, and summer scouting tournaments, Southwestern's storied baseball field has become one of the top NCAA Division III fields in the region. Named for a Southwestern student–athlete alumnus and his family, Rockwell Field also features a clubhouse, built in 2013, commemorating the late SU head baseball coach Jim Mallon, an NAIA and Big Country Hall of Fame inductee.
